Laser/Waterjet Operator
Job Description: Laser/Waterjet Operator
Status: Full-time, currently accepting applications
Shift: 1st, 2nd
Location: Sparta, WI
Overview of job
A machine operator responsible for the safe operation of CNC lasers and waterjet along with other manufacturing equipment, the operator must be completely capable to adjust, set and measure for proper product to be manufactured.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and the qualified applicant must have a thorough understanding of fabrication blueprints and must be capable of measuring and documenting all prints called out dimensions
- Responsible for the quality of the product produced, must ensure parts manufactured meet all quality standards expected. Measure parts accurately with a variety of measuring tools
- Be willing to continuously help improve production methods and increase efficiency
- Follow and complete job traveler tasks, interact with engineering to clarify processes and customer material specifications
- Must help in obtaining and keeping data on quality checks for your completed work
- Able to enter all commands and manually adjust laser/waterjet to correct any malfunctions or out of tolerances specifications
- Perform maintenance on machines as required
- Ensure a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Must be experienced in CNC laser operations with a minimum of 3mths, of experience and fully capable of setting up and operating the lasers
- Must be an excellent communicator, responsible, personable, have a strong work ethic and always be on time
- Detail-oriented, ability to plan and manage multiple projects,*Able to lift 75lbs, and stand entire shift to perform jobs
- Be familiar in basic problem solving, 5-S and Lean activities. Able to follow work instructions and willing to help develop them pertaining to the job when needed
- High school diploma or GED

Press Brake Operator
Job Description: Press Brake Operator
Status: Full-time, currently accepting applications
Shift: 1st, 2nd
Location: Sparta, WI
Overview of job
The operator is responsible for all aspects of the press brake operations on either manual or CNC press brakes. The operator must be able to accurately and efficiently complete all orders to the established procedures and company quality standards.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Operate machines to ensure the highest level of quality for all product is achieved
- Perform all fabricating operations of sheet metal products according to job traveler and print specifications
- Must know how to and be capable of changing all press brake dies as required per job specifications
- Completely capable of inspecting all work completed for conformance to job specifications and able to use all forms of measuring tools pertaining to press brake product inspections and documenting all dimensions are correct
- Willing to recommend improvements to help overall job efficiency and assisting in continuous improvement methods
- Ensure a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Experienced in different types of press brake operations
- 2 yrs. plus of experience in a relevant manufacturing setting
- Be an effective communicator, personable, strong work ethic, always on time
- Work with minimum supervision
- Able to read prints, follow work instructions and be very detailed oriented
- Responsible for the quality of all product produced
- Skilled in performing accurate arithmetic functions as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using decimal, percentages, fractions and ratios
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and high production manufacturing practices
- Knowledge in CNC programming for press brakes
- Knowledge in calibration of all measuring tools pertinent to press brake
- Must participate in basic problem solving, 5-S and lean activities
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to stand to perform all press brake tasks for the entire shift
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs. repetitively and have very good range of motion

Welder/Fabricator
Job Description: Welder/Fabricator
Status: Full-time, currently accepting applications
Shift: 1st, 2nd
Location: Sparta, WI
Overview of job
Set welders up with proper processes and allowed ranges, be able to set up and use multiple types of jig and fixturing to complete weld assemblies. Must be capable of welding light gage to heavy material of mostly mild steel. Most welding is high volume production welding.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Must be responsible, personable, have a strong work ethic, and always be on time
- Ability to make good independent judgement decisions and work with a minimal supervision
- Able to read and understand prints and work procedures
- Detail-oriented, ability to plan, organize, set priorities and manage multiple projects, communicate well with all team members
- Responsible for the quality of product produced, must ensure parts manufactured meet all quality standards expected.
- Absolute willingness to take on challenges and see them completed
- Able to lift 75 lbs throughout shift if needed
- Be able to stand entire shift to perform jobs
- Must meet any established production standards and work in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- *Minimum 4 yrs experience in welding or a Welding technical degree
- Experienced working with various types of mig welders also experienced with setting up and utilizing jigs and fixturing to complete very high-volume production quantities and weld assemblies
- Be able to use basic hand tools and general shop equipment
- Must participate in basic problem solving, 5-S and learn activities
- Must be able to follow standard work instructions and help develop work instructions as needed. *Must help in obtaining and keeping data on quality checks for your completed work

Machinist
Job Description: Machinist
Status: Full-time, currently accepting applications
Shift: 1st, 2nd
Location: Sparta, WI
Overview of job
The operator is responsible for all aspects of operations on the CNC machines and being capable of operating vertical machining, turning centers and milling operations. Must be capable of running manual lathes, able to accurately and efficiently complete all tasks, capable of programming the machines for jobs is a definite plus. Being use to high production manufacturing environment.
Duties/Responsibilities
- *Setup and adjust and operate a variety of CNC machines
- Read and understand layouts, blueprints, complete job travelers
- Programming of G code on CNC machines (will train applicant)
- GibbsCam and SolidWorks software knowledge and experience
- Properly select correct tooling for each machine and job
- Be able to identify non-conformance during machine operations
- Record accurate dimension checks continuously, adjust and maintain tooling
- Able to do daily and weekly maintenance on all machines
- Follow all work procedures and be willing to recommend improvements to help improve efficiency
- Work with a minimum supervision
- Responsible for the quality of product produced, must ensure parts manufactured meet all quality standards expected
- Be able to stand entire shift, lift 75 lbs. as needed
- Work on other side operations while the machine is running in cycle times
- Must be responsible, personable, have a strong work ethic and always be on time
- Detailed-oriented, ability to plan, organize, set priorities and continuously manage multiple projects, communicate well with all other team members
- Ensure a clean and maintained work area
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 yrs. CNC milling, turning, vertical machining experience
- An associate degree in lieu of the above-mentioned experience
- Computer skills and ISO experience preferred, participate in basic problem solving, 5-S and lean activities
- Jig and fixture design is a plus
- Must follow standard work instructions and help in developing work instructions pertaining to all CNC machining operations
